  • Analyze inventory levels and processes for improvement.
  • Create purchase orders for stock items and commercial projects, approve supplier proforma invoices and arrange shipping. Maintain and update ETAs in system and with salespeople as needed. Reconcile documents.
  • Answer purchasing questions from other company associates, including sales teams, as needed.
  • Resolve claims with suppliers and accounting. 
  • Create pricing for stock and non-stock items as needed.
  • Manage pricelists and communicate with appropriate departments regarding this.
  • Communicate information about discontinued items to appropriate departments.
  • Update systems with price and product information.
  • Assemble shipping documents for receiving department. Reconcile PO’s with commercial invoices.
  • Quickly identify potential problems and offer solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Degree required/AA degree preferred
  • 2+ years purchasing experience
